Edox Iceman II Limited Edition, Made a Record!

Both Edox Iceman II and Chronodakkar limited edition are made for extreme sports. The difference is the Chronodakkar is made to walk on earth, while this timepiece is built to beat underwater and ice challenges with its 100 ATM special ability.

Recently, this new watch challenged Christian Redl in conquering the Gokyo Lakes. Both Christian Redl and the Iceman II has survived after ice diving at latitude of 5160 meters at that sacred and extremely cold lake. It made Christian Redl as the first human ever who do that, and it means also the Iceman II is the first timepiece ever that do that. Edox said the Iceman II is built for a record, well, I prefer say it’s the most perfect timepiece for record makers.

Well, if you don’t want to count on its remarkable ability in doing a record, this new watch also brings an elegant design, like other sport watches of Edox. The black nuance of rubber strap, 45mm 316L stainless steel case with black PVD coating, dial with red big Arabic numerals of hours indicator, push buttons and ceramic bezel shows a strong will and courage of its users in marking the dangerous paths of an extreme sports.

Due to meet the challenge, the Iceman II carries chronograph function, Edox 103 based on Ronda 5021.D movement, scratch-proof and glare-proof sapphire crystal, and stainless steel buckle.

The release date and pricing
Edox Iceman II limited edition is going to hit market soon at same price as the Chronodakkar limited edition in MSRP CHF 1,950 or EUR 1790 or around $2,399.99. And it’s only available in 203 pieces worldwide. Did I mention the limited edition number engraved on the case flank?
